To rent a car from LilRent you need two documents: your ID card or passport and a category B driving licence. You must be at least 21 years old with at least 2 years of driving experience. We ask for no deposit and block no money on your card.

You do not need proof of income or a deposit. You sign the rental contract and pay for the days you chose.
If you live abroad or are a foreign citizen
Bring your passport and a valid driving licence. If your licence is not written in Latin letters, also bring an International Driving Permit.
If you are not sure your licence is suitable, send us a photo of it on WhatsApp or Telegram before you travel and we will answer the same day.
Additional driver
If someone else will drive, we add them to the contract. They need the same documents: an ID or passport, a category B licence, age 21+ and 2 years of experience.
If you want to leave Moldova
You can leave the country only with our prior agreement and Green Card insurance. Tell us when booking which country you are going to, so we can prepare the car documents.
Check before handover
- Your ID or passport is valid on the rental dates
- Your licence is valid and you have the original with you, not just a photo
- You told us if you need a child seat
- You told us if you are leaving the country
- You chose the handover place: the LilRent office, your address in Chisinau or the airport
